Countdown to China Part 2

Only 62 more days until opening Ceremornies I can't wait but we are still going to be in a hotel in Los Angeles for one night then fly out to China on September 27th we only have 1 1\2 months left I think until we leave for greatest 2 1\2 weeks with our new friends we met in Nashville Once it get here it will go by so fast

Vacation

I am on vacation with my mom right now. We are in Minnesota today visiting some friends with my Aunt Lisa and then tomorrow we are going back to Chicago for my mom and I to fly back to California on Monday night. We went to go visit my grandparents in La Crosse Wisconsin on Wednesday and Thursday and to see my cousins and my cousins 8 months year old baby girl named Hailee. I am still walking around the block to keep in shape. I am very excited about going to China this fall but we still have a long time to wait till we leave 2 1\2 months and then I will be flying to China. Last night I called A.J. and talked to him for awhile since we got along so well at the training camp in Nashville Tennesse a few weeks ago now. I went swimming with my friends dogs today that was alot of fun with Rosie and Lily. On the way up to Minnesota we went to Stockholm Wisconsin, Red Wing, Wisconsin or Minnesota I don't know what state that is near and we also went Maddened Rocky to see my grandma Pat my mom and aunt Lisa mother who passed away when I was younger like 4 yrs old that was sad. that is all I have to say right now check back later on when I get home from my vacation

countdown to China

I only have 70 days until opening ceremorines in China and 65 more days until I go up to LA for one night and spend the night in the hotel. I am getting very excited about going to China I don't know if I can't wait that long for China but I have too. I had such a blast in Nashville and I know I will have a really big blast in China for three weeks.

Nashville

I had really great time in Nashville last weekend. I made alot of new friends and I can't wait to see them in September again. I had alot of fun with the other track member chosen from southern California. Michelle called A.J. and I her double trouble in the playful. I met a guy Corey from IOWA he had a crush on me but he is 32 years old so we hung out alot at the venture. It was alot of fun to go to Nashville sound of game with Team USA on Saturday night and then we had a dance on Sunday night I was the only one in my group that danced the night away until Barbara came and told me that the girls were ready to go so we left but I was the dancing queen of my group. I like my 4x400 relay team too we got along we have a twelve year old on our team for the relaxy from Indiana.

Today Sara received this picture from her coach in South Dakota. Her name is Barb (to the left of Sara) and will be with Sara and the other 3 athletes in this picture on a daily basis in China. Barb has been sending Sara emails for the last year encouraging her to workout. On the far left is Sara's room mate Tasia from Delaware, next is Katelyn from Minnesota and finally Evelyn from Virgina.

Our First Blog Entry.

Hi friends and family. We have set up this blog to keep everyone updated about our impending trip to China to watch Sara compete in the Special Olympics World Games, from October 2nd until October 11th.


Sara recently got back from her Team USA training in Nashville, TN. Here she is at practice. She had a great time and can't wait for "the real deal." We can't wait to watch her.
